Peak Hosting Announces the Peak Startup Act Benefiting Startups and Entrepreneurs
The Peak Hosting Startup Act Provides Free Benefits to Qualified Startup Companies Through Subsidized Hosting Services. Peak will provide qualifying companies up to $12K a year for hosting services.
Peak Hosting, the industry leader in Operations-as-a-Service, employed in dedicated, managed hosting services, and hybrid cloud computing, today announced the Peak Startup Act. The program will subsidize qualified startup businesses with $12K of free services, $1K credit per month over a period of a year, as a jumpstart to the new Startup Act 2.0 bill before Congress.
The new Federal bill seeks to help move university-based research from the laboratory to the marketplace more quickly. It also makes targeted changes to the tax code to encourage investments in younger, smaller startup companies, and the bill also seeks to ease regulatory requirements that could make it more difficult for smaller businesses to expand and create jobs. Startup Act 2.0 also creates new opportunities for American-educated, entrepreneurial immigrants to remain in the U.S., where their talent and ideas can fuel growth and create American jobs. See all the provisions here.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) estimates that 15 million net new jobs were created by small business during the last 10 years alone. In addition research shows that for close to three decades, companies less than five years old have created almost all of the net new jobs in America, averaging about three-million new jobs each year. With the new Peak Startup Act we will offer our expertise and business acumen to support vital and entrepreneurial spirit.
“We know the startup community offers the business world both new technology and job creation.” said Jeffrey Papen, Founder and CEO of Peak Hosting. “We took our own startup experience to heart and addressed a need for both startups and their investors.”
